This policy covers the Zonory app for iPhone and Apple Watch and this website.

2. What Zonory processes

Zonory is built to work without an account and without a server. The app processes:

• Profile: age or birth year, biological sex, body weight, resting and maximum heart rate, and the zones derived from them.
• Plans and training history: phases, targets, workout logs, summaries and settings.
• Sensor: the identifier and name of the Bluetooth heart rate sensor you connect, so Zonory can reconnect to it.
• HealthKit: with your permission, Zonory reads date of birth, biological sex, body mass, resting heart rate and recent workouts to fill in your profile and estimate your fitness level. It writes a workout with heart rate and active energy only when you save a training.
• Bluetooth: heart rate values from the sensor you choose. They are processed live and stored in the workout log.

All of this stays in the app's local storage on your iPhone. Zonory has no user accounts, no cloud sync and no server of its own.

3. HealthKit

Zonory reads HealthKit data only to fill in your profile and estimate your fitness level. It does not read live heart rate from Health to control a training. A workout is written only after you tap Save; demo trainings are never written.

HealthKit assurances: Zonory does not use or disclose HealthKit data for advertising, marketing or other data-mining purposes. Zonory does not sell HealthKit data to data brokers or information resellers. HealthKit data is used solely to provide the app's training features.

4. No tracking, no advertising

Zonory contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. No App Tracking Transparency prompt is required because no cross-app tracking takes place.

5. Legal basis

Processing is based on your explicit permission in the iOS settings (HealthKit and Bluetooth) and on providing the function you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For health data, it is additionally based on your consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw HealthKit and Bluetooth access at any time in the iOS settings.

6. This website

This website sets no cookies and loads no analytics or tracking scripts. When you visit, our hosting provider processes technically necessary server log data (for example IP address and time stamp) to deliver and secure the site. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).

7. Retention and deletion

App data stays on your device. Settings → Data → Reset app deletes plans, history, profile, settings and the remembered sensor. Deleting the app removes the same local data. Workouts already saved in Apple Health remain there until you delete them in the Health app.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Because Zonory does not transmit data to us, these rights mainly concern the settings on your device. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.

9. Changes

We update this policy when the app's features or the legal situation change. The current version is always available on this page.
